Matthew Woodson was born in the early 1980s. After his graduation at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2006, he was hired by Margeotes, Fertitta & Partners New York to create a series of illustrations for the Perry Ellis Fall/Winter campaign in 2006. That was the initial start of his career as a professional illustrator.

Matthew Woodson still lives in Chicago where he works for a bunch of well-known clients such as American Express, Annabelle Magazine, Assics, Bon Appetit Magazine, Wired Magazine and many more. In addition to his work for all these clients, he still finds the time to create some personal artworks.
